1. Privacy at a glance

You can browse and search AI Finderz without creating an account. The AI Finderz Core plugin does not require a paid AI API and does not send your search text to OpenAI, Anthropic or Google AI services.

2. Favorites

When you save an AI tool as a favorite, its tool ID is stored in your browser using local storage under the key aifinderz_favorites. Favorites are not tied to a user account and are not published.

You can remove favorites from the site or clear the site's local storage in your browser settings.

3. Search requests and outbound clicks

Search requests are processed by the WordPress site to return matching catalog entries. When anonymous Search Insights are enabled, AI Finderz may store an eligible normalized search phrase together with an aggregate count and the last time that phrase was searched. No IP address, account ID or browser identifier is attached to that search row. Queries that look like email addresses, URLs or long phone/account numbers are skipped by the plugin.

When you click a “Visit Tool” or official-site button, AI Finderz increments an aggregate click counter for that tool. The plugin stores the total count, not a visitor profile for that click.

4. Tool submissions

If you use the “Submit AI Tool” form, AI Finderz may store the tool name, website URL, category, description and any email address you voluntarily provide. Submitted tools are saved as pending entries for editorial review.

The submitter email is not displayed publicly by the plugin. It is kept with the submission until it is removed or the site administrator deletes that information.

5. Cookies, WordPress and hosting

AI Finderz Core does not add advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies for ordinary visitors. WordPress, your browser, the hosting provider, security services or other plugins enabled on the site may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request logs or essential cookies where necessary to operate and protect the website.

If analytics, advertising, consent-management or other third-party services are added later, this policy should be updated to describe them.

6. Links to third-party websites

AI Finderz links to independent AI products and services. Once you leave AI Finderz, the destination site's own privacy policy and terms apply. AI Finderz does not control how those third-party websites collect or use information.

7. Retention and your choices

Browser favorites remain until you remove them or clear the site's browser storage. Aggregate click totals may remain in the catalog as historical statistics. Tool-submission information remains until it is reviewed, edited or deleted by the site administrator.

If you have a privacy request relating to information you submitted, use the contact channel published by the site owner and identify the relevant submission so it can be located.

8. Changes to this policy

AI Finderz may update this policy when the website adds new features, analytics, advertising, accounts or external services. The “Last updated” date above indicates when this version was generated.
